1. Who We Are

Music with Melo is an online music education platform for children, operated by Conceivr Limited (RC Number on file). Our platform is accessible at musicwithmelo.fun.

2. What We Offer

Music with Melo provides structured, interactive music lessons for children aged 5–12, currently including:

• Piano with Melo — Level 1: 5 parts, 75 lessons. Part 1 (15 lessons) is free to all registered users. Parts 2–5 require a one-time payment.
• Guitar with Melo — Level 1: 5 parts, 75 lessons. Part 1 (15 lessons) is free to all registered users. Parts 2–5 require a one-time payment.

Content includes text lessons, interactive audio exercises, quizzes, virtual instruments (piano keyboard and guitar fretboard), and Melo character guidance.

3. Accounts

• You must create a free account to access any lesson content. Authentication is provided by Clerk (clerk.com).
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Do not share your account with others.
• Accounts are for individual use only. Sharing paid access with other households is a breach of these terms.
• You must provide accurate information when registering. False information may result in account suspension.
• If your child is using the platform, you (the parent or guardian) are responsible for the account and for supervising use.

4. Pricing and Payments

• The one-time payment for full access to Parts 2–5 (per instrument) is $30 USD or ₦40,000 NGN.
• International card payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy (a Stripe company). Nigerian Naira payments are processed by Korapay.
• We do not store your card or bank details. All payment processing is handled securely by our payment partners.
• Once payment is confirmed, access is granted immediately to your account. If you experience a delay, contact us and we will resolve it within 24 hours.
• Prices are subject to change. Any price change will not affect purchases already made.
• Access purchased is lifetime access — we do not charge recurring fees.

5. Refunds

We offer a 7-day refund on any paid purchase. Please see our Refund Policy for full details on eligibility, process, and timelines.

6. Affiliate Programme

• Music with Melo operates a referral programme through which registered affiliates earn commission for each sale they generate.
• Commission is paid in Nigerian Naira (NGN) every Friday to the bank account provided in your affiliate dashboard.
• Commission rates and tiers are as described in the affiliate dashboard and are subject to change with 14 days' notice.
• Self-referrals (using your own referral link to purchase) are not permitted and will not generate commission.
• We reserve the right to withhold or reverse commission where fraud, chargebacks, or policy violations are detected.
• Affiliates are responsible for any tax obligations on commission earnings in their country of residence.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on Music with Melo — including lesson text, audio, visual design, the Melo character, course structure, quizzes, and interactive tools — is owned by or licensed to Conceivr Limited and is protected by copyright law.

• You may not copy, reproduce, publish, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from any content on this platform without prior written permission.
• Your personal, non-commercial use of the platform for educational purposes is permitted.
• Screen recording or sharing of paid lesson content is not permitted.

8. Children's Safety and Appropriate Use

Music with Melo is designed for children aged 5–12, under the direct supervision of a parent or guardian. We take children's safety seriously:

• Accounts should be created and managed by a parent or guardian, not the child directly.
• We do not have community features, public chat, or any mechanism for children to communicate with other users or strangers.
• All content is age-appropriate and moderated internally.
• If you believe any content on the platform is harmful or inappropriate, please email us immediately.

9. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to paid content or another user's account.
• Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers on the platform.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the platform's source code.
• Use the platform in a way that could harm, disable, or overburden our servers.
• Submit false or fraudulent payment claims or chargebacks.

10. Availability and Changes

We aim to provide a reliable, always-available service, but we cannot guarantee 100% uptime. We may update, add, or remove features at any time. We will give reasonable notice before removing any paid content that users have purchased access to.

11. Limitation of Liability

Music with Melo is provided in good faith on an "as-is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of the platform.
• Our total liability to you in any circumstances is limited to the total amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
• We are not responsible for the accuracy of third-party content, links, or services referenced on the platform.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account without notice if you breach these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if we are required to do so by law. Paid users whose accounts are terminated for reasons other than a breach on their part will be offered a pro-rata refund.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the platform will first be attempted to be resolved amicably by email. If unresolved, disputes will be referred to the courts of competent jurisdiction in Nigeria.

If you are located in the European Union, you also have the right to seek resolution through your national consumer protection authority.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email at least 14 days in advance. Continued use of the platform after the effective date of new terms means you accept them.
